100 Minutes of Impact

As the Edlavitch DCJCC marks 100 years since our building opened at 16th and Q, we invite our community to join 100 Minutes of Impact, a meaningful and accessible way to honor 100 years!

Celebrating 100 Years at the JCC

From September through December 2026, participants are encouraged to commit at least 100 minutes of community service in support of the causes they care about. Whether you volunteer through the Center for Social Responsibility at the JCC, support a local nonprofit, participate in a service project, or lend a hand in your neighborhood, every minute makes a difference.

While the goal is 100 minutes per person, we encourage participants to go beyond and continue making an impact throughout the campaign. If you already volunteer on a regular basis, we encourage you to commit 100 more minutes than you had planned!

Participants can track their volunteer hours throughout the campaign and those who log the most service time will be eligible to receive fun swag and prizes.

Our goal is to reach 100,000 minutes of service! Make your commitment today and check back every week to see how we’re progressing.

Earn Minutes on Your Own Time:

Clean up trash in your neighborhood or a local park
Organize a food drive for a community organization such as SOME or the Capital Area Food Bank
Make sandwiches for Martha’s Table
Join a cleanup with Rock Creek Conservancy
