Interest Clusters

Join a community that gets you! EntryPointDC Interest Clusters are casual, peer-led groups where you can explore your favorite activities with others who love them too.

Join Interest Clusters – find your people and dive into what you love!

Looking for community? Want to meet new people in your area? Interest Clusters are peer-led groups for those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s built around shared interests and activities that gather together once a month around the DMV.

Whether you’re into books or bouldering, mysticism or mahjohg – or anything in between – there’s an Interest Cluster for you. Not simply a meet-up group, this is a space to meet other Jews and walk away with a group of friends. Each Interest Cluster is led by a volunteer coordinator, so all you have to do is show up!

Registration for the July–December session closes on Sunday, June 21, or when groups become full.

Registration for each Interest Cluster is $18. These funds help the JCC support Interest Clusters by covering the cost of supplies, instructors, special admission fees, and more, as well as dedicated staff support.

Some groups may have additional participation costs; check the registration page for more information.

If this registration cost is a barrier to your participation, please reach out to Sarah at sfredrick@edcjcc.org. Nobody will be turned away from our programming based on financial status.

Frequently Asked Questions

Browse the above categories to see all the groups we offer. If this is your first time registering for a JCC program, you’ll need to make a MyEDCJCC account before you’re able to register.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll get an email from your group coordinator welcoming you and sharing next steps.

Each Interest Cluster registration page will list days, times, and locations of group meetings. After registration, Interest Cluster coordinators will reach out to the group with more specific details for each gathering.

We encourage you to join each Cluster gathering because that’s how relationships and communities get built. We know sometimes conflicts happen, so if you’re not able to attend please reach out to your group coordinator to let them know in advance.

We’d love to hear your idea! While we’re not currently accepting any new cluster ideas for our July–December 2026 season, we’d be happy to keep your idea in mind for our next season. Reach out to Sarah, our EntryPointDC Ambassador, at sfredrick@edcjcc.org to set up a conversation.

We’re happy to answer them! Please reach out to Sarah. Our EntryPoint Ambassador, at sfredrick@edcjcc.org. If you are having trouble logging in or creating an account, please reach out to info@edcjcc.org.
