Shabbat & Holidays
All Ages
Celebrate year round with the EDCJCC! Programs available for families and individuals of all ages.
Whether you’re new to DC or have been here for decades, finding community and building relationships can be hard. The JCC curates spaces to connect for people of all ages and stages in life. Find others with similar interests, experience the warmth of a Shabbat dinner, or join an affinity space that’s right for you.
To learn more or if you can’t find what you’re looking for, please reach out to Sonya Weisburd, Senior Director of Engagement.

Find your people and dive into what you love! Designed for those in their 20s–40s, Interest Clusters are peer-led groups built around shared interests and activities that gather together once a month around the DMV. Not simply a meet-up group, this is a space to meet other Jews and walk away with a group of friends.
Join Shabbat Clusters – your Jewish community for monthly Shabbat dinners! Shabbat Clusters are small, curated groups for Jewish adults that meet for monthly potluck dinners at each other’s homes, local parks, or restaurants in the DMV. Clusters are organized based on age, neighborhood, and affinity, with room for everyone!

GLOE—The Kurlander Program for GLBTQ Outreach & Engagement serves DC’s queer Jewish community and our friends and allies. From arts and culture to Shabbat dinners and drag shows, GLOE builds community rooted in connection and belonging.
The Jews of Color Affinity Group welcomes all Jews of Color and their family members for holiday celebrations and community building. Our community is interfaith, multiethnic, and multiracial.
Bayit is a social community for Israeli and Israeli-American young adults in the DC area who are looking for connection, culture, and a sense of home. Come build community, friendships, and your bayit right here in DC.
