Admissions Process

In order to be considered for admission, children must be registered on our Admission Pool List.

You may register for the Admission Pool List at any point after your baby is born – the earlier the better, but no need to do it before the baby arrives!

There is a one-time $50 application fee, which will keep your child on the list for all future school years.

Admissions Timeline

• Mid-November: Financial aid applications sent to all eligible applicants for following school year
• End of January: Open enrollment for 18-month and 2-year-old siblings of current students
• Beginning of February: Open enrollment for current families
• February: Offers sent to new 18-month and 2-year-old families*
• March: Offers sent to new 3- and 4-year-old families*
• Early April: Enrollment contracts due**

* Offers are sent based on a number of factors, including whether siblings are currently enrolled, date of Admission Pool List sign-up, past participation in EDCJCC, and more.

** Exact date based on DCPS lottery results date
