We are thrilled to offer in-person camp this summer for campers who are rising PreK4 through 6th grade!
Edlavitch DCJCC and Bender JCC are proud to announce our continued partnership. This amazing collaboration allows for friends across the DMV to come together to enjoy the fun and memories that Camp JCC has to offer. Similarly to last year, campers entering 2nd-6th grade will enjoy camp at the Bender JCC campus, with a huge outdoor pool, climbing wall, and sports fields! Bus service will be provided from the EDCJCC (as well as from other convenient locations in DC if there is interest).
Our youngest campers in Camp at EDCJCC (entering PreK4, K and 1st grade) will enjoy their camp day at our beautiful EDCJCC campus in our newly renovated building, complete with indoor pool, arts and crafts facilities, and nearby parks and playgrounds. The camp day runs from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
Thanks to the generosity of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, we are able to offer a limited number of Camp scholarships this summer. For more information, please email Arielle Bodner at abodner@edcjcc.org.

Summer of Service Camp
Registration is now open!
Spend your summer making the world a better place with our inclusive Summer of Service Camps. Teens of all abilities work directly with community non-profits, learning and reflecting on social responsibility. Join us again on the grounds of the Bender JCC in Rockville. This summer, middle and high school teens will split their week between earning SSL hours through activities like packaging kits for the Ronald McDonald house, and assisting the men and women who volunteer at A Wider Circle, and much more. We will follow a hybrid approach: some activities will be done on campus, and others will take place at various sites. Combine that with all the fun of a typical camp day and you have a recipe for a rewarding summer.
After registration, each family will be contacted to schedule an online conversation with Shanna Sorrells, Director of Inclusion and Disability Programming to discuss your camper’s needs and ensure that this program will be a good match for you.
For information and details regarding accessibility and accommodations, please contact Shanna Sorrells, Director of Inclusion and Disability Programming at ssorrells@edcjcc.org.
