Camp JCC 2022

camp JCC 2022

June 27-August 12, 2022

Returning families of rising 2nd through 6th graders should register by December 20 to lock in the returning rate. Applications for rising PreK4 through 1st graders, as well as applications for new families of rising 2nd through 6th graders, will open on December 20.

We are thrilled to offer in-person camp this summer for campers who are rising PreK4 through 6th grade!

Edlavitch DCJCC and Bender JCC are proud to announce our continued partnership! This amazing collaboration allows for friends across the DMV to come together to enjoy the fun and memories that Camp JCC has to offer. Similarly to last year, campers entering 2nd grade through 6th grade will enjoy camp at the Bender JCC campus, with a huge outdoor pool, climbing wall, and sports fields! Bus service will be provided from the EDCJCC (as well as from other convenient locations in DC if there is interest).

Our youngest campers, Camp at EDCJCC (entering PreK4, K and 1st grade) will enjoy their camp day at our beautiful EDCJCC campus in our newly renovated building, complete with indoor pool, arts and crafts facilities, and nearby parks and playgrounds. The camp day runs from 8:30AM – 4:00 PM.

Thanks to the generosity of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, we are able to offer a limited number of Camp scholarships this summer. For more information, please email Arielle Bodner at

Summer of Service Camp

Spend your summer making the world a better place with our inclusive Summer of Service Camps. Teens of all abilities work directly with community non-profits, learning and reflecting on social responsibility. This summer, camp will be offered on the grounds of the Bender JCC in Rockville, and representatives from local non-profits will come to Bender to lead discussions and social responsibility projects relating to topics such as food insecurity, homelessness, literacy, the refugee crisis, and more. Earn 15-20 SSL hours per week and have all the fun of a typical camp day!

Summer of Service Camp will be offered for four one-week sessions, and campers who register for any two consecutive weeks will have a different experience each week.

More information about registration will be coming soon!
