Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area just opened a brand new resource center where refugee families can come in and “shop” for essential supplies. Join us for an evening of volunteering at this new location.

Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area just opened a brand new resource center where refugee families can come in and "shop" for essential supplies. Join us for an evening of volunteering at this new location.

What: Volunteers will work to organize and tidy the warehouse and donations. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to help clients "shop" for home essentials.

Who: There is no age requirement to volunteer but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone.

Where: We will meet at the LSS warehouse located in Alexandria, VA. Exact address will be provided after registration. If transportation is needed, we're happy to help coordinate rides to the warehouse from the JCC.
