Volunteer your time with the EDCJCC at the Capital Area Food Bank! Join us for an evening of volunteering to support the Capital Area Food Bank's efforts in ending food insecurity in our region. Working in the distribution center is a great way for volunteers to support the Capital Area Food Bank on the front lines of the distribution process. You'll be helping to sort and pack donated food items along with other EDCJCC volunteers. Registration is required for this event.
Where: 4900 Puerto Rico Avenue, NE Washington, DC 20017. Parking is available onsite.
COVID-19 and other requirements: In accordance with Capital Area Food Bank requirements, all volunteers must be vaccinated. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes.
Age requirement: Volunteers must be 12 years of age to participate and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
