Conversation is the new “talk”! Join us for a candid virtual workshop about the importance of early sexual health education as an issue of safety and as a path to later healthy relationships. Clinical social worker (and mom) Melissa Kilbride will talk about why these conversations are necessary and will provide simple ways to have conversations with your kids without shame and discomfort. Walk out the door an “askable parent,” ready to tackle these issues with your children.

Melissa Kilbride is a Clinical Social Worker and the owner of a group therapy practice in Washington, DC. She is the co-author of a parenting handbook called Working with Worry and has over 18 years of clinical experience working with children, adults, and couples around anxiety, depression, and trauma. Melissa is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and believes passionately in the necessity of sexual health education for children.
