In this program for children and their adults, we will explore questions about the holiday of Sukkot and the structure of a sukkah as we decorate the EDCJCC sukkah.

What is a sukkah? How do we build them and why? How are they similar to and different from our regular homes? Can you build a sukkah on a boat? We will explore these questions and more as we decorate the EDCJCC sukkah.

Children in kindergarten through third grade and their adults are invited to use all their senses to engage with Jewish holidays and traditions in this joyful monthly series led by Rabbi Atara Cohen, Director of Jewish Life and Learning at the EDCJCC. Each standalone explore questions and themes of the calendar through accessible texts and creative hands-on activities. Questions? Please reach out to Rabbi Atara at acohen@edcjcc.org.
