1:00–3:00 PM: Newborn & Infant Care with CPR Certification

Nested’s Newborn & Infant Care with CPR Certification Boot Camp is a comprehensive class that will prepare you for the moment your baby is born through the first few anxiety-provoking months. We take you on a journey from the day of discharge through your newborn’s first few months at home.

Our emphasis is setting your family up for a smooth transition, promoting a healthy baby and parents. In this class, we will review hospital discharge logistics, learn signs of newborn illness, discuss nutrition, learn choking prevention tactics and infant CPR, and more.

Ultimately, clients will be armed with a toolkit to strengthen the physical and emotional health of the entire family. This is a perfect class for anyone building a family through biology, adoption, or surrogacy.

This class includes the blended (in-person and online) American Red Cross Pediatric CPR/Choking Prevention/First Aid/AED Certification Course. It consists of a self-paced, interactive online session, followed by an in-person, hands-on skills training session with one of Nested’s certified American Red Cross instructors.

3:00–5:00 PM: Childbirth Education Boot Camp

Nested’s In-Person Childbirth Education Boot Camp is a comprehensive class that will prepare you for your journey through labor, delivery, and the postpartum period! In this class, we will review common third trimester issues, learn about the signs of labor, discuss each stage of labor, discuss typical and unexpected childbirth scenarios, hear from experienced labor doulas, and more.

With coping strategies, empowerment, education on diet and exercise and community resources, parents will leave feeling prepared for the doctor’s office, the delivery room, and the trip back home.
