Join us for our keynote film program and reception for the 10th Annual Immigration Film Fest. The event will open with a reception providing wine and beer, light snacks, and the opportunity to mingle with the community. This year’s festival theme is “Resilient Together,” and our featured films embody this as they explore the power of working together toward a shared goal. Sisterhood offers a look at activist organizations working to protect domestic workers in Lebanon during the COVID-19 pandemic, and Estamos Unidos journeys alongside a Central American migrant caravan as they work to cross borders to reach asylum.

A filmmaker Q&A following the screenings will feature Alvaro Morales, Director of Estamos Unidos. Rooted by his immigration history, Alvaro is a visual artist working at the intersection of media, tech, and activism.
