Join us for an afternoon of volunteer projects and advocacy to help folks around the DC area who are experiencing food insecurity. Activities will include sandwich making, soup preparation, and more! We will also make thank you notes for poll workers and learn about other ways to participate in and support a healthy democracy. Intended for children ages 5+, but everyone is welcome.

Please note: We will be using products that contain gluten and nut products.

Pre-registration is required for this program, and we expect it to fill up quickly! We request a $16 per person registration fee to help offset the cost of supplies for this project for anyone over the age of 5.

In honor of Good Deeds Day, help us collect baby body wash for our longtime partner, Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSSNCA). LSSNCA provides newly arrived refugee families with essential supplies and they are running very low on baby body wash. Drop off baby wash at the EDCJCC on Sunday, May 5, or order through our Amazon Wishlist!
