Get ready for Shabbat by learning how to braid challah and making your own Havdalah kit at this fun family program.

Families of children in kindergarten through third grade are invited to use all their senses to engage with Jewish holidays and traditions in this monthly series led by Rabbi Atara Cohen, Director of Jewish Life and Learning at the EDCJCC. Each standalone session will explore themes and values of the calendar through accessible texts and joyful creative activities.

How do we make Shabbat feel different and special? How do we prepare so that we can take a break? Join us for a delicious discussion while we braid challah and create our own Havdalah kits.

Please make sure to register each child in your household who will attend. Contact Rabbi Atara at acohen@edcjcc.org with any questions.
