Clean up the Anacostia River in style! Join the EDCJCC and Living Classrooms to clean up trash and debris from the river while paddling in a kayak.

Clean up the Anacostia River in style! Join the EDCJCC and Living Classrooms to clean up trash and debris from the river while paddling in a kayak. You’ll be guided by staff certified in paddling education and CPR/First Aid. Every child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult in their kayak.

Where: This program takes place at the Kingman Island boat launch point located in Northeast DC. The exact meeting spot will be shared via email.

Preregistration is required for this program and walk-ups will not be allowed. We request an $8 registration fee. If this is in any way prohibitive to your participation, please email Mira at msmith@edcjcc.org.
