In 2026, the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center marks 100 years since our historic building opened at 16th and Q Streets. The Centennial celebrates a century of Jewish life in Washington, DC and looks ahead to how we strengthen community for the next 100 years.

The Centennial Campaign is a comprehensive effort to prepare the EDCJCC for its next century. It supports evolving programs, long-term sustainability, and stewardship of our historic home so the Center can continue to serve as a welcoming hub for Jewish life.

No. The Centennial is a community-wide celebration. There will be many programs, gatherings, and moments throughout the year that are open to the community, regardless of whether you make a financial contribution.

Support can take many forms, including:

  • Making a financial contribution to the Centennial Campaign
  • Becoming a corporate partner or sponsor
  • Including the EDCJCC in your estate plans through a legacy gift

Yes. The Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
