The Laszlo N. Tauber Family Foundation Swimming Pool

The Edlavitch DCJCC features a twenty-yard three-lane indoor lap pool. We offer a complete selection of lessons, exercise classes, and activities for new and experienced swimmers of all ages. Trained swim instructors provide expert guidance and support, helping members to learn to swim, improve their technique, get fit, train and compete or simply enjoy free swim with family and friends.

The first 3 Inclusion program members who sign up and note that they are from the EDCJCC will receive a discounted rate. 

Classes offered this month:
SPIRIT Flex: Improve your flexibility, balance, and mood!
Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Starting February 15)

SPIRIT Move: Have a blast improving your strength & coordination paired with energizing music!
Fridays, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM (Starting February 17)

SPIRIT Fitness: Strengthen your muscles while getting your heart rate up!
Sundays, 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (Starting February 19)

SPIRIT Club is an organization that creates accessible and supportive fitness for people with and without disabilities, allowing people of varying needs and backgrounds to be a part of an inclusive fitness community. Classes are led by certified fitness professionals who have also received additional support counselor/behavioral training. Classes feature an adaptive design that offers modifications dependent on individuals’ needs and goals.

Are you ready to improve your swimming technique in 2023? Wish you could swim more efficiently and confidently? Want to learn new strokes? Join Lisa for eight one-hour sessions of guided, personal instruction in a small group setting at the pool.

Each session will be structured to permit engagement, instruction, and time to practice newly-acquired skills. While focused on crawl techniques, we encourage students to provide details for skills they are looking to build and grow.

Dates:
Meet and Greet: Monday, February 13, 1:15-1:45 PM
Class: Mondays and Wednesdays, February 13, 15, 22, and 27; March 1, 6, 8, and 13; 2:00-3:00 PM

Cost:
Full Session (8 classes): $40 senior members / $60 senior non-members
1 class drop-in: $15 members / $20 non-members
