Celebrate Tu B'Shvat – often referred to as Jewish Arbor Day – by cleaning up a green space in DC! Meet on the banks of the Anacostia River to do a trash clean up at Kingman and Heritage Islands. We'll do a bit of learning about the holiday and then divide into teams to clean up the area. At the end, we'll briefly gather to share some fruits traditionally eaten for Tu B'Shvat. All clean-up supplies and snacks will be provided. In case of heavy rain or snow this program will be canceled.
