What is the relationship between Judaism and astrology? How and why have Jews embraced or rejected systems of thought external to Judaism? Join Rabbi Atara Cohen, Director of Jewish Life and Learning at the EDCJCC, in partnership with DC Minyan, for a text study based in a series of fascinating Talmudic stories. In our discussion, we will explore the ways that the rabbis of antiquity thought about astrology as a model for how we today might think about truth systems that are not inherently Jewish.
