Join GLOE for this annual event to celebrate Passover through an LGBTQ+ lens. Now in its eighteenth year, the National Rainbow Seder is one of the nation’s largest and longest-running Passover seders for the queer Jewish community and its allies.

This year’s theme, Liberation for All Who Journey: Remembering, Resisting, Rebuilding, invites us to retell the Passover story through a queer lens, honoring our ancestors’ path to freedom alongside the hard-fought progress of the LGBTQ+ equality movement. Our specially commissioned Haggadah (the Jewish text containing the Passover story) weaves ritual, resistance, and joy into an evening where we can show up fully and celebrate liberation together.

5:30 PM: Doors open
6:00 PM: Seder starts

Seder will be led by Rabbi Atara Cohen, Rabbi Avigayil Halpern, and rabbi dr koach baruch frazier. Our featured keynote speaker will be Reverend Diego Miguel Sanchez, Vice President, Policy and Government Affairs, PFLAG National.

This Rainbow Seder will also be a chance to honor the life and legacy of Michael Singer, our dear friend, GLOE co-chair, and longtime EDCJCC board member. For decades, Michael committed himself to building joyful community under the belief that sharing our stories with strength and pride helps create spaces where everyone can feel seen, safe, and celebrated. We hope you’ll join us as we honor Michael’s legacy and carry forward his courageous commitment to inclusion and community.
