Share Your Story

Your voice is part of our history.

The EDCJCC’s story is still being written and it’s written by the people who make up our community. We invite you to share a story, memory, photo, or video that reflects your connection to the EDCJCC.

You don’t need a polished script or professional equipment. What matters is authenticity.

What Can I Share?

We welcome:

  • Personal stories or reflections
  • Memories connected to programs, people, or moments
  • Photos or videos from any era
  • Stories big or small

If you’ve ever asked yourself, “Does this count as history?” – the answer is yes.

Looking for inspiration? Check out these stories collected during the first phase of our oral history project.

How It Works

  • Click one of the submission links below
  • Record or upload your videos, answering a few guiding prompts
  • If you’re sending us photos, make sure to give us some context – who’s pictured, when it was taken, and why it matters to you

You can participate from your phone, tablet, or computer. Most submissions take 5–10 minutes

What Happens Next

Submitted stories may be featured on our centennial website, social channels, or future campaigns. All submissions are reviewed with care and respect. If you have any questions, please reach out to akramer@edcjcc.org.

This project is about honoring lived experience, not perfection.
