What does it mean to live a good life? In this course we will explore surprising Jewish texts answering this question, from the Bible to the present. As we learn, we will notice the ways that Jewish thinkers disagree with each other, creating a vibrant conversation spanning millennia. We will join in the discussion ourselves, adding our own voices to this rich tradition.

All materials provided with translation; no prior Jewish textual experience necessary. This class is held in person at the EDCJCC on Wednesday mornings, November 8-December 20, 2023.
