Join GLOE and Bet Mishpachah to celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility with guest speaker Admiral Rachel Levine, the first openly transgender four-star officer in any of the United States uniformed services.
Join Bet Mishpachah, DC’s LGBTQ+ synagogue for a special program honoring Transgender Day of Visibility. The DC community is invited to participate in a brief ceremony honoring the day and then hear from Admiral Rachel Levine, Assistant Secretary of Health and the first openly transgender four-star officer in any of the United States uniformed services as well as the first female four-star admiral in the Commissioned Corp. Admiral Levine will address the congregation, followed by a Q&A session moderated by Rabbi Jake.
