Doom scrolling? Try Torah scrolling! In anticipation of Shavuot, this workshop will introduce the physical Torah. Join Rabbi Atara to learn how a Torah is made, explore traditions, and practice wrapping and lifting the Torah.
Doom scrolling? Try Torah scrolling! In anticipation of Shavuot, a holiday celebrating the gift of Torah, this workshop will introduce the physical Torah. Join Director of Jewish Life Rabbi Atara to learn how a Torah is made, to explore ceremonial traditions, and to practice wrapping and lifting the Torah. Traditional Shavuot treats will be served. All backgrounds and levels of Torah experience welcome.
