Join the Youth Action Institute as we celebrate our final event of the school year! We Are Family, which supports senior citizens who are choosing to age in place, will join us to pack groceries for their clients. This project is eligible for 1.5 SSL hours.

Join the Youth Action Institute as we celebrate our final event of the school year before transitioning to our summer programming! We’ll be closing down the EDCJCC parking lot for a large-scale service project in partnership with We Are Family, which supports senior citizens who are choosing to age in place across Washington, DC. Volunteers will pack groceries for clients.

This project is open to volunteers ages 11-18 and is eligible for 1.5 SSL hours.

Free to attend, but advance RSVP is required.
