Celebrate the start of summer with Housing Up! Volunteers will spend the evening playing games and doing crafts with the children of one of Housing Up’s programs, giving the kids a chance to have fun together and the parents a chance to relax.
Celebrate the start of summer with Housing Up! Volunteers will spend the evening playing games and doing crafts with the children of Housing Up's Partner Arms program. Partner Arms serves families who are overcoming homelessness in northwest DC. Games and crafts are a favorite at Partner Arms and gives kids the chance to have fun and be in community, and parents the chance to relax!
This program is open to volunteers ages 18+ and is geared toward volunteers who love working with kids. This opportunity is in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC. The exact address will be provided upon registration. The apartment is accessible by bus and is located .6 miles from the Georgia Avenue/Petworth Metro station. Street parking is available.
