Date : Monday, Jan 19

Time : 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an afternoon of hands-on service with A Wider Circle. Open to participants ages 7 and up, volunteers at this project will sort donations and help stock A Wider Circle’s showrooms.

Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with an afternoon of hands on service through A Wider Circle’s Essential Support program! A Wider Circle provides furniture and household items to individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness.

Volunteers will help sort donations like household furniture, linens, kitchen items, and more, as well as stock the showrooms where A Wider Circle clients select items for their homes. Accessibility: This project will require that volunteers are on their feet for the majority of the program.

Registration is required for this free program and we will not accept walk-ins. We anticipate this program selling out and ask that you only sign up if you are committed to showing up that day.

The minimum age to volunteer is 7. All volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone; JCC staff are not able to chaperone anyone under 18.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Lyssa at ajellenik@edcjcc.org.
