We’ll hear from members of Washington Hebrew’s Jews of Color Affinity Group and have facilitated group conversations about the intersection of our Jewish values and how to advance the meaning of Juneteenth, “that none of us are free until we are all free.”
Join DC’s Jewish community to commemorate and celebrate Juneteenth. During the Shabbat service, members of Washington Hebrew’s Jews of Color Affinity Group will share reflections on this important holiday. After the service, we will have facilitated group conversations over dessert on the intersection of our Jewish values and what actions we can take as individuals to advance the true meaning of Juneteenth, “That none of us are free until we are all free.”

8:00 PM: Dessert reception with facilitated roundtable conversations
This Shabbat experience is free and open to everyone. Advance RSVP is required so we have an accurate head count for food and drinks.
