Join other Jews of Color and their families to make hamantaschen and celebrate Purim. We’ll have crafts and a pizza dinner, and you and your family will get to make hamantaschen to take home, bake, and enjoy!
Join other Jews of Color and their families to make hamantaschen and celebrate Purim! You will get pre-made dough to fill with lots of fun fillings and then take your hamantaschen home to bake. We’ll also enjoy crafts and learning about the holiday of Purim over pizza dinner.
Costumes are welcome as long as you don’t mind getting flour on them! If you have any questions please contact Sonya Weisburd at sweisburd@edcjcc.org.
Please note this holiday celebration is specifically curated for community members who identify as Jews of Color and for their families. If you do not identify as being part of this community, we invite you to attend a different Purim event happening at the EDCJCC instead.
