Volunteers will join Food Justice DMV to pack hundreds of boxes of food and items such as diapers and wipes for immigrant families.
Food Justice DMV is a volunteer collective delivering food and standing in solidarity with thousands of our immigrant neighbors. Food Justice DMV serves more than 8,000 families who are asylum seekers or undocumented, filling a critical need as these families are otherwise hesitant to reach out for help due to their immigration status and language barriers.
Volunteers will pack hundreds of boxes of food and items such as diapers and wipes. This event is located in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC. Please reach out to Mira at msmith@edcjcc.org with any questions!
