Join other Jews of Color young professionals for an evening of connection, culture, and community. We’ll start off with wine, appetizers, and a chance to meet new friends and reconnect with familiar faces. Then, enjoy a private tour of the Capital Jewish Museum’s new exhibit: LGBTJews in the Federal City— a first-of-its-kind exploration of the intersections between Jewish history, LGBTQ+ history, and DC history. Come for the community and stay for the stories of those who paved the way for us to be able to celebrate our rich and multifaceted identities out loud.
If you have any questions, please contact Sonya at sweisburd@edcjcc.org.
Free to attend, but advance registration is required so we know how many people to expect.
Please note: this program is specifically curated for community members who identify as Jews of Color and are ages 22-45. If you do not identify as being part of this community or age cohort, we invite you to attend a different event happening through the EDCJCC instead.
