Come learn about Tu B’Shvat in this creative hands-on workshop for parents and children

Families of children in kindergarten through third grade are invited to use all their senses to engage with Jewish holidays and traditions in this monthly series led by Rabbi Atara Cohen, Director of Jewish Life and Learning at the EDCJCC. Each standalone session will explore themes and values of the calendar through accessible texts and joyful creative activities.

If the world is ours, can we do anything we want to it? How can and how should we take care of our planet – and what happens if we don’t take care of it? In this session, we’ll combine an exploration of Jewish stories about humans’ relationship to the earth with creative hands-on work to deepen our connection to these questions. Led by Chana Kupetz of Hadar Children and Families and Rabbi Atara Cohen.

Please make sure to register each child in your household who will attend. Contact Rabbi Atara at acohen@edcjcc.org with any questions.
