Welcome the first night of Chanukah with HaKol, the new Capital Jewish Chorus. Following the 30-minute performance, we’ll enjoy a community sing, candle-lighting, and latkes and sufganiyot.
Join us for the inaugural concert and sing-along with HaKol, the new Capital Jewish Chorus, to welcome the first night of Chanukah! HaKol’s two dozen singers, under the baton of conductor and composer Dr. Joshua Fishbein, will present a 30-minute concert featuring a wide variety of Jewish music. Following HaKol’s performance, Dr. Fishbein will lead a community sing as we light candles for the first night of Chanukah. Then we’ll feast on delicious latkes and sufganyot and schmooze with old friends and new.
The concert and celebration are co-sponsored by HaKol, the Edlavitch JCC, and Bet Mishpachah, the DC area’s LGBTQ+ synagogue. Registration is free, with additional donations to be shared among the three co-sponsors.
Please RSVP by December 10 so we’ll know how many latkes and sufganyot to order. After a joyous concert, you shouldn’t go hungry!
