Join us for a conversation about navigating Jewish and progressive identities in America.

After October 7, Allison Tombros Korman made the difficult decision to leave her role in the reproductive rights movement and launch the Red Tent Fund, the nation’s first Jewish abortion fund. In this intimate gathering, Allison will share the story behind the Red Tent Fund’s founding, how she built an organization rooted in Jewish values, and what it means to create a space for people who refuse to separate their values from their work.

This event will be held a private home in Washington, DC. Space is limited and advance registration is required. Registration will close on Monday, October 12, at 12:00 PM. Light bites and drinks (Kosher options available) will be provided.

Allison Tombros Korman (she/her) brings two decades of nonprofit leadership in reproductive health and rights and organizational strategy to her role as founder of the Red Tent Fund. As Executive Director of Culture of Respect, she led a groundbreaking national initiative to end campus sexual violence. She later served as Senior Operations and Strategy Director at the DC Abortion Fund until resigning in 2023 in response to antisemitic conduct by staff and Board. Throughout her career, she has designed and implemented strategic programs for major organizations including USAID, CDC, and the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals.

Alli holds a Masters of Health Sciences from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a B.A. in English and Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan. She has additional certifications in Restorative Justice Facilitation from the University of San Diego and Executive Facilitation from Georgetown University.
