Join us for a lively conversation about how physical objects in our life help shape our Jewish identity – then browse and shop at a curated pop-up market of local makers reimagining Judaica.

Join us for a lively conversation with Gabby Deutch, Senior National Correspondent at Jewish Insider, and Stephanie Butnick, founder of GOLDA, who will discus how physical objects in our life help to shape our Jewish identity. The evening will also feature a curated pop-up market of local makers reimagining Judaica—from time-honored pieces to bold, contemporary designs.

The exact address will be shared shortly before the event. This event is free to attend, but space is limited and advance registration is required. Registration will close on Monday, April 13, at 12:00 PM.


Gabby Deutch is the Senior National Correspondent at Jewish Insider. She was previously a contributing writer at JI and has worked on The Atlantic‘s global affairs team and at NewsGuard, a company fighting online misinformation. Gabby graduated from Yale, where she studied history, and she lives in Washington, DC.

Stephanie Butnick is a writer, podcaster, and Jewish culture obsessive. She recently launched GOLDA, a Jewish lifestyle newsletter featuring curated gift guides, holiday hotlines, Jewish FAQs, and more. ​Previously, she was the deputy edi­tor of Tablet and has writ­ten for The New York Times and The Wall Street Jour­nal. She has a bach­e­lor’s degree in reli­gion from Duke and a mas­ter’s in reli­gious stud­ies from NYU. She lives in New York with her hus­band and their cat Cat Stevens.
