Breakfast Kits for SAMU

Spend your morning supporting newly arrived migrants and asylum seekers! Volunteers will make over 250 instant oatmeal kits, a perfect grab-and-go meal for residents of the SAMU migrant respite center. We welcome volunteers of all ages to participate in this program.

Spend your morning supporting newly arrived migrants and asylum seekers! SAMU First Response is an international humanitarian nonprofit 501(c)(3), that draws fromover 40 years of experience. SAMU is currently serving 1,500-2,000 asylum-seekers per month arriving in our Nation’s Capital. Their programming provides food, medical attention, clothing, hygienic care, emergency respite and travel support.

Volunteers will make over 250 instant oatmeal kits, a perfect grab-and-go meal for residents of the SAMU migrant respite center. We welcome volunteers of all ages to participate in this program.

Pre-registration is required for this program, and we expect it to fill up quickly! We request a $10 per person registration fee to help offset the cost of supplies for this project for anyone over the age of 5.
