In this class for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, participants will learn the fundamentals of theater from vocal and movement warmups to creativity-building exercises to audition prep!
In this Theater Foundations class, each actor will work on developing the foundations of a strong theater performance. These skills include, acting, singing, dancing and improvisation. At the end of the class, there will be a small sharing demonstrating the skills each participant has developed over the session.
Participants should be comfortable in groups of up to 20 people, advocate for any self-care needs, follow directions, and demonstrate respectful, safe behavior at all times.
