Join other Jews of Color young professionals (ages 21-44) to celebrate Shavuot! We’ll hang out and do some learning over ice cream, then head to a nearby beer garden for more time together.
Rosh Chodesh Sivan marks the beginning of the Hebrew month of Sivan – a month of revelation and receiving the Torah, which we celebrate during Shavuot. Join other JOC young professionals (ages 21-44) and Ammud Ambassador Rabbi Kelly Whitehead for some ice cream, hanging out, and Torah learning. Afterwards, we’ll walk over to a nearby beer garden for anyone who wants to grab a drink and some dinner. Ice cream and your first beer is on us!
This event is free to attend, but RSVP is required. The exact meeting location will only be shared upon registering for the event. It is metro- and bus-accessible.
Please note this program is specifically curated for community members who identify as Jews of Color and their guests who are 21-44 years old. If you do not identify as being part of this community, we invite you to attend a different JCC event instead.
