Spend your evening supporting patients undergoing chemotherapy at GW Hospital Center. We’ll hear from a clinical social worker at the GW Cancer Center, then assemble care kits to help brighten patients’ days and make the process a little more comfortable.

Spend your evening supporting patients undergoing chemotherapy at GW Hospital Center. The program will begin with a presentation from a clinical social worker at the GW Cancer Center and a vegetarian pizza dinner. Volunteers will then assemble care kits for patients currently undergoing cancer treatment at the GW Cancer Research Center. These kits are designed to brighten patients’ days while providing items that can help make the chemotherapy process a little more comfortable.

The cost of this program is $10 to help cover the cost of supplies. Please reach out to Lyssa at ajellenik@edcjcc.org with any questions or if cost is a barrier to participation.
