Representative Greg Landsman (Ohio’s 1st Congressional District) will explore what it means to be a Jewish voice in the United States Congress, how his Jewish identity informs his work, and more.

Join us for a fireside chat with Representative Greg Landsman of Ohio’s 1st Congressional District. We’ll be exploring what it means to be a Jewish voice in the United States Congress, how his Jewish identity informs his work, and much more.

Before joining the U.S. House of Representatives in 2023, Rep. Landsman served on the Cincinnati City Council for five years where he led investments in public safety and core services. He also led the effort to establish the City of Cincinnati’s first-ever Office of Ethics and Good Government as well as the Balanced Development Scorecard to increase trust in local government and transparency in the development process. Prior to his time in elected office, Rep. Landsman was a public school teacher and worked in education advocacy as the Executive Director of the Strive Partnership.

Rep. Landsman also served as the Director of Faith-based and Community Initiatives under former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland. There, he led Ohio’s efforts to help local churches and synagogues provide education and food programs in their communities. Rep. Landsman earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Ohio University and a master’s degree in Theology from Harvard University.
