Celebrate the start of the school year with Housing Up! We’ll play games and distribute school supplies to celebrate the new school year at a Housing Up that site serves families who are overcoming homelessness.

Celebrate the start of the school year with Housing Up! We’ll play games and distribute school supplies to celebrate the new school year. This Housing Up site serves 10 families who are overcoming homelessness, and volunteering is the perfect way to build community with the residents.

Please note that program is open only to volunteers ages 18+ and is geared toward volunteers who love working with kids. This program will be held in the Petworth neighborhood of Washington, DC, and the exact address will be provided upon registration. The apartment is accessible by bus and is located .6 miles from the Georgia Avenue/Petworth Metro station. Street parking is available.
