How can our traditions of Jewish wisdom help us face our current difficult times? Join us for a series of discussions jumping off traditional Jewish texts. We may not agree, but we can find comfort in knowing that we are not alone in our contemporary struggles.
Jews have seen many heartbreaking events through history and have accumulated a variety of contradictory potential responses to hardship. How can our traditions of Jewish wisdom help us face our current difficult times? Join EDCJCC Director of Jewish Life Rabbi Atara and the Bet Mish community for a series of discussions jumping off traditional Jewish texts. We may not agree as we converse with the texts and one another, but we can find comfort in knowing that we are not alone in our contemporary struggles.
Each of the three standalone sessions will focus on a different theme. You may sign up for just one or all three for a discounted registration. Folks of all Jewish learning backgrounds welcome, from total beginners to seasoned scholars. Questions? Please reach out to Rabbi Atara at acohen@edcjcc.org.
