Theater J offers a range of exciting programs for children and adults through school residency programs, student matinees, Summer Musical Theater Camp, and two online programs for adults: Classes for Theater Lovers and Sunday Morning Spotlight.
Student Matinees and School Residencies
You come to Theater J and we come to you! Bring your class to a Theater J matinee performance this year! Free tickets are available for DCPS students and teachers, and subsidized tickets are available to all students and teachers from any school. All matinees come with a digital study guide and pre-show workshop. You can also bring an artist to your classroom for a longer residency in performance, creative writing, or social-emotional learning..
