They Fight With Cameras

“A deeply moving and thought-provoking film…The still photographs and movie footage are stunning… It’s a work of art.”

James Holland, Author of “Normandy ’44: D-Day and the Epic 77-Day Battle for France”

Never-before-seen war footage gives viewers a first-person perspective on WWII, from the landing on Omaha Beach to the liberation of Dachau. This hour-long documentary, narrated by Lieve Schreiber, recounts the wartime experiences of decorated U.S. Army Signal Corps combat cameraman Waltera Rosenblum. Rosenblum and his fellow Signal Corps cameramen were deployed to the front lines of combat to record the war in Europe in real time, providing a new type of intelligence for generals planning the war and leaving behind a remarkable trove of historical documentation. The film features an original score composed by Marcus Loeber, and an on-camera interview with Rosenblum conducted by the USC Shoah Foundation.
