{"id":98,"date":"2023-06-13T14:24:25","date_gmt":"2023-06-13T18:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edcjcc.829dev.com\/theater-j\/ticket-policies\/"},"modified":"2026-07-23T11:37:26","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T15:37:26","slug":"ticket-policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.edcjcc.org\/theater-j\/ticket-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Ticket Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Attending a Performance&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EDCJCC Code of Conduct<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">All ticket holders and guests must abide by the EDCJCC Code of Conduct and the EDCJCC&#8217;s Anti-Discrimation, Anti-Harassment, and Anti-Racism Policy for Guests and Members of the Public.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">As a Jewish Community Center, we are committed to being a place where everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome and included. This includes members, guests and EDCJCC staff who are part of our community and are here to help members and guests have a positive experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">To create a welcoming environment, we expect that patrons and staff treat each other with respect and dignity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">We will not tolerate physical or verbal abuse, hateful speech, derogatory slurs or harassment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Physical or verbal abuse or repeated offenses may result in removal from an EDCJCC program or revoking membership. When anyone experiences an act of exclusion, we will seek to right the wrong.\u00a0If you have a concern or would like to report an act of exclusion, <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdBPvq-1rF-HLOutfG9RqkMqdB_KwlWhnmx70LqFV6kXH4PTw\/viewform\">you may do so here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">For more information, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edcjcc.org\/diversity-equity-inclusion-belonging\/\">here<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Health &amp; Safety Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Mask-wearing is recommended but not required inside the Goldman Theater for all performances and in other public spaces in the EDCJCC. Masks are available for free at the Box Office if you would like to use one.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required to enter the JCC or the theater. All staff members are still required to be vaccinated, and we encourage everyone to talk to their primary care provider to ensure they are up-to-date on the latest vaccinations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Content Disclosures &#8211; Each show page will include content transparency sections so you can learn more about the show. You can also contact boxoffice@edcjcc.org for more information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Ticket Policies&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">All sales are final<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Single ticket prices are dependent on the day of the week, time, and demand for the performance. Ticket prices may increase as demand increases, so purchasing early or subscribing are the most economic option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">There are no rush tickets available to Theater J performances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">All single tickets are subject to a $7.00 per ticket fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Patrons who are no longer able to attend a performance will currently be able to donate their tickets or receive a credit for future use. Refunds are not available for purchased tickets. Please contact the Ticket Office before your scheduled performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Single tickets may be exchanged into another performance of the same production for a $10 per order fee, subject to ticket availability. Exchanges to more expensive performances are subject to the difference in price between the two performances. No refunds or credit are given for exchanges to less expensive dates. Fee may be waived for COVID-19 related reasons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Subscribers receive unlimited exchanges within the same price tier, subject to ticket availability. Exchanges to more expensive performances are subject to the difference in price between the performances. No refunds or credit are given for exchanges to less expensive dates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Encore tickets for subscription package holders can be reserved after the original ticket has been used, within the same price tier and subject to availability. Subscribers will be asked to show their IDs when picking up encore tickets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Discount offers may not be combined.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">All patrons must have a ticket.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">No children under eighteen years of age are admitted to the theater without being accompanied by an adult. Check the show page for content disclosures. If more information is required to determine whether a show&#8217;s content is appropriate for children, contact the box office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"\/theater-j\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2023\/11\/Theater-J-Numbered-Seating-Chart-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Seating Chart<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Late Arrival Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Patrons who have not claimed their tickets as of the scheduled starting time of the show forfeit their original seat assignment and will be reseated into available seats at the discretion of the management at an appropriate break in the show. We do not guarantee that late patrons will be able to claim their original seating assignment at intermission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cancellation &amp; Inclement Weather Policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a show is cancelled due to inclement weather, that information will be updated on the Box Office phone line, 202.777.3210. Cancellations are rare and are usually decided late in the afternoon for an evening event. When a show is cancelled due to inclement weather, refunds or exchanges will be assessed at that time.
