Daniel is the Managing Director at West Halbert Capital, LLC. Previously, he was COO and GC at Potomac River Capital, LLC, an investment adviser based in Washington, D.C. Earlier in his career, Daniel served as Chief Counsel for PNC Capital Advisors; a partner in the Ropes & Gray law firm; Managing Director, at  Deutsche Asset Management, and as a member of the staff of the SEC. 

He has taught at GW and the U of MD law schools. Daniel’s other board service includes the Audit Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science Endowment Fund and the Weizmann CASE Fund and Clark University. Daniel is a graduate of Clark and Harvard Law School. He is a member of the DC Bar and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. He and his wife Brenda have three grown children and reside in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
