Gifts support unique and engaging programs that help Jews in their 20s and 30s connect to their Jewish community – and each other – and celebrate their Jewish culture, traditions, and identity.

Gifts allow us to continue to maintain the space you come to strengthen mind, body, and soul, and provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities, seniors, children, and young families to start or continue their journey to live a happy and healthy life.

Gifts support GLOE – the first and only full-time program of its kind at any JCC in the country – and allow this program to stand out as a national leader in Jewish LGBTQ engagement.

Inclusion & Disability
Gifts support our commitment b’tzelem elohim – the idea that all human beings are created in God’s image – and provide opportunities for young adults of all abilities to create meaningful, independent, and well-rounded lives.

Jewish Living and Learning
Gifts support programs for families and individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and affiliations to explore and celebrate Jewish life in engaging, unique, and meaningful ways.

Morris Cafritz Center for Social responsibility
Gifts support the ongoing work of bringing thousands of volunteers together to serve over 25,000 individuals in need in our own backyard.

Parenting Center
Gifts allow us to continue to provide the support, guidance, and enrichment to all families – LGBTQ and straight, couples and single parents, Jewish and non-Jewish, biological and adoptive – needed to raise young children in the city.

Camp and After School
Gifts allow our Camp and After School programs to stay up to date with the latest trends in youth programming, including offering unique and exciting Enrichment courses and Specialty Camps.

Gifts allow our Preschool and entire Center to continue enriching the lives of young families who are committed to leading rich, diverse lives in the city.

Gifts support full and rich programs that allow area seniors the opportunities to create community connections and continue to live meaningful, healthy, active, and independent lives.

Theater J
Gifts support the nation’s largest and most prominent award-winning professional Jewish theater which engages over 20,000 audience members annually to witness productions that explore and challenge the Jewish and human experience.

Presented by the Edlavitch DCJCC, JxJ is a new multidisciplinary arts project that encompasses the Washington Jewish Film Festival and the Washington Jewish Music Festival alongside original cutting edge hybrid arts programming—all presented as one massive three-week experience, taking over the greater Washington region.
