Lam Hark is a talented chef in a struggling Hong Kong restaurant. Feeling adrift and looking for love, Lam’s friends push him onto a dating app to find a connection. Uncertain of what he’s looking for, he searches for “Zelda” — the name of a childhood crush whom he met in a chatroom 20 years earlier.

Lam matches with four Zeldas, with a simple setup for a first date – they provide the space, and he cooks the meal. Through four omakase meals we see life’s longings, struggles, and joys. From public housing flats to secluded mansions, the unveiling of each dish provides a delicious backdrop in this sweet, funny romance.
