Volunteer your time at the Capital Area Food Bank! 

What: Join us for an evening of volunteering to support residents of the DMV. Working in the distribution center is a great way for volunteers to support the Capital Area Food Bank on the front lines of the distribution process. You’ll be helping to sort and pack donated food items along with other EDCJCC volunteers!

When: Thursday, July 15 from 5:30-8:00pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early so you are prepared to start promptly at 5:30pm.

Where: 4900 Puerto Rico Avenue, NE Washington, DC 20017. Parking is available onsite.

Requirements: In accordance with the DC Government and CDC recommendations, all volunteers are required to wear a mask or face covering at all times in the facility over their mouth and nose. Due to CAFB’s limited supply of masks and we are asking volunteers bring their own masks. Volunteer are required to wear close-toed shoes.

We welcome volunteers ages 12+ to sign up! Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
