Volunteer your time at the Capital Area Food Bank!
What: Join us for an evening of volunteering to support residents of the DMV. We will be working in the distribution center, which is a great way for volunteers to support the Capital Area Food Bank on the front lines of the distribution process. You’ll be helping to sort and pack donated food items along with other EDCJCC volunteers. No interaction with clients occurs at this project.
When: Tuesday, January 25 from 5:30-8:00pm. Please arrive 10 minutes early so you are prepared to start promptly at 5:30pm.
Where: 4900 Puerto Rico Avenue, NE Washington, DC 20017. Parking is available on site.
COVID-19 Requirements: All volunteers MUST BE VACCINATED and are required to wear a mask or face covering over their mouth and nose at all times in the Capital Area Food Bank facility.
Registration: Registration is required for this volunteer activity. Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older and those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
