WHAT: Join us for a very special Shabbat experience followed by Theater J’s Gloria: A Life. Bring in Shabbat with dinner, candle lighting, and a focus on reproductive justice. On this Shabbat, we invite you to imagine a world where everyone has greater access to reproductive healthcare – including abortion access and full bodily autonomy. Hear from nationally renowned speakers and activists, the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW)’s Chief Policy Officer Jody Rabhan and NCJW President Dana Gershon about NCJW’s efforts around reproductive justice in a post-Roe world. Learn how you can get involved in the sacred work of affirming and upholding the rights of women and girls, then enjoy the powerful story of Gloria Steinem and the activists who taught and inspired her.
